GUIDLINES FOR SUBMITTING AN ARTICLE
Manuscript Preparation
Formatting: Manuscripts should be prepared in a standard word processing program (e.g., Microsoft Word), using Times New Roman font (size 12), double-spacing, and 1-inch margins.
Title page: The title page should include the article title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information. For double-blind review purposes, do not include author information within the main text.
Abstract and Keywords: Provide a concise abstract (150–250 words) summarizing the objectives, methods, findings, and significance of the research. Include 4–6 keywords.
Text Structure: Submissions should follow a clear structure, typically including an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.
Figures and Tables: Include all figures and tables within the manuscript body, with descriptive captions. Ensure high resolution for all visuals and label them clearly.
References: Use APA style for in-text citations and references. A full reference list should be included at the end, with each reference thoroughly checked for accuracy. Language and Style
Manuscripts should be in clear, formal English. Authors may consult a professional language editor before submission, if necessary.
Avoid jargon and provide explanations for specialized terms. Ensure that the writing is accessible to a broad social science audience.

Each author must confirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal.
Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
For any previously published tables, figures, or extensive quotes, authors must obtain permissions. Ethical Considerations
Plagiarism: Submissions will be screened for plagiarism. Authors must ensure all work is original or properly cited.
Research Ethics: Research involving human subjects should adhere to ethical standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional guidelines.
Data Sharing: BJSS encourages data transparency. Authors should provide access to data, methods, and materials where possible, either by attaching them as supplementary files or by including a data availability statement. Peer Review Process
BJSS follows a double-blind review process. Authors should anonymize their manuscripts by removing identifying information.
Reviewers will evaluate the article’s originality, rigor, contribution, and alignment with the journal’s scope.
Authors will receive reviewer comments and may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts. Resubmitted manuscripts should include a cover letter detailing how each reviewer comment was addressed.
Revision and Resubmission
Authors receiving a revision request should resubmit within the specified deadline (typically 2– 4 weeks). Failure to resubmit within the deadline may result in withdrawal from consideration.
