It was recommended that government and non-governmental organizations should embark on enlightenment programmes in the rural areas on the importance of reproductive health care; adequate medical equipment, staff, motorable rural roads should be provided; community and religious leaders should be enlightened and involved in the implementation of reproductive health care programmes in the rural areas to ensure its success.
