The University seeks highly skilled, innovative, and motivated Back-End Software Developers to join its software development team. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend applications.
Microservices architecture, Docker and containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, AWS or other cloud platforms, Redis or other caching technologies, Message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka), Automated testing using JUnit/Mockito, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience developing large-scale enterprise or university management systems.

The University seeks talented, creative, and highly motivated Front-End Software Developers to join its software development team. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for designing and developing modern, responsive, and high-performance web and mobile applications, with strong emphasis on React, Next.js, TypeScript, mobile application development, and API integration.
React Native and mobile application deployment, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), State management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query), Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Next.js SSR/SSG/Server Components, Firebase services, Mobile publishing (Play Store & App Store), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and enterprise/university management systems experience.

The appointment is a career-progression appointment, and the person so appointed shall remain in office until the statutory retirement age of 65 years, subject to the provisions of the relevant laws, statutes, and regulations of the University, or may be removed from office on grounds of ill health, misconduct, or other conditions as may be prescribed.
The other terms and conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in public universities in Nigeria, consistent with the Statutes of the University and as may be determined by the University Council from time to time.
