📝 Requirements for Registration
Candidates must meet the following general baseline requirements:
- Must have obtained a minimum admissible score of 150 in their UTME and chosen MOAUM as their first choice of institution (or changed from other institutions to MOAUM as first choice).
- Must possess five (5) relevant O’ Level credit passes (including Mathematics and English Language) at NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS (UTME ONLY).

| 160 & Above | Administration and Management, Arts, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology and Industrial Studies, and Science (except Computer Science, Biochemistry, and Microbiology). |
| 180 & Above | Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, and B.Sc. Computer Science. |
| 200 & Above | B.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc. Human Anatomy, B.Sc. Human Physiology, and B.Sc. Biochemistry. |
| 220 & Above | Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science, and B.Sc. Radiography and Radiation Science. |
| 240 & Above | Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B). |
💻 Procedure for Registration

Visit Portal: Go to the official University Portal at www.portal.bsum.edu.ng.

Access Admission Menu: Navigate to the “Admission” Menu and click on “Post UTME/DE Verification”.

Verify JAMB Registration: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Next”.

Make Screening Payment: Once your status is verified, click on “Proceed” to access the E-Payment platform and make an online payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only.

Continue Registration: After payment, return to www.portal.bsum.edu.ng, click on the “Admission” Menu, then click “Continue Registration”.

Complete Application: Fill out the biodata application form completely and print out your completed application slip.
⚠️ Important Information & Required Programme Changes

JAMB CAPS Upload: All candidates for both UTME/DE admissions MUST upload their O/A’ level results on the JAMB portal (CAPS). Failure to do so will result in disqualification from admission consideration.

Mass Communication Applicants: Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication should effect a change to other available programmes in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.

Nursing Applicants: Candidates who applied for BN. Nursing should effect a change to other science-based programmes, especially within the Faculty of Science or College of Health Sciences.

Vocational & Technical Education Applicants: Candidates who applied for Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes under the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, especially Industrial Technology.

Regular Updates: All registered candidates are advised to check the University portal regularly for updates and further instructions.
