Requirements for Registration
- First Choice Eligibility: Candidates must have chosen MOAUM as their first choice of institution or have successfully effected a change of institution to the University as their first choice.
- O' Level Credits: Candidates must possess five (5) relevant O' Level credit passes (including Mathematics and English Language) at NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTINGS (for UTME only).

Procedure for Registration

1Visit the Portal: Go to the University Portal at www.portal.bsum.edu.ng.

2Access Admission Menu: Click on the "Admission" menu, then select "Post UTME/DE Verification".

3Verify JAMB Registration: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click next.

4Make Payment: Once your status is verified, click "Proceed" to access the E-Payment platform and make an online payment of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only.

5Complete Registration: After successful payment, return to www.portal.bsum.edu.ng, click "Admission" menu, then "Continue Registration".

6Print Application: Fill out the biodata application form completely and print your completed application slip.
Important Notes
- JAMB CAPS Upload: All UTME/DE candidates MUST upload their O' Level or A' Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal during registration. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from admission consideration.
- Mass Communication Candidates: Candidates who initially applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication should change to other programmes within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
- Nursing Candidates: Candidates who applied for B.N. Nursing should change to other science-based programmes, particularly within the Faculty of Science or the College of Health Sciences.
- Vocational & Technical Education Candidates: Candidates who applied for Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes in the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, specifically Industrial Technology.
- Regular Updates: Registered candidates are advised to regularly check the University portal for further instructions, updates, and next steps.
